Review by hotel critic
As a family of four, we recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful self-catering property in Cornwall. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Lauraine and Ulli, who welcomed us with a traditional Cornish cream tea and a fragrant vase of stocks. The property itself was immaculately clean, warm, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We appreciated the attention to detail, from the cozy living room stocked with board games and books to the fully functional kitchen where we could prepare our meals. On rainy days, we made use of the extensive collection of Blu-rays to keep the kids entertained while we relaxed. One of the highlights of our stay was the shared garden, which boasted a patio area, BBQ, fish pond, and children's play area. Our kids had a blast playing outside and enjoying the stunning views of Bodmin Moor. It was the perfect space for us to unwind and soak in the beauty of the surrounding countryside. In terms of location, the property was ideally situated for exploring both Cornwall and Devon. We took day trips to the far west of Cornwall and found that we were within easy reach of many attractions and activities. Overall, our experience at this self-catering property was top-notch. Lauraine and Ulli's hospitality, combined with the family-friendly amenities and activities on offer, made our stay truly memorable. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing holiday in the English countryside.
